World’s premier energy conference features most innovative and distinctive new
technologies in the energy sector
(Seattle, WA) Modumetal has been selected participated in the Energy Innovation Pioneers
program during CERAWeek 2012 to be held March 5-9 in Houston, Texas. The Energy Innovation Pioneers program presents the most innovative and distinctive new technologies across the energy spectrum, including oil, gas, coal, carbon management, biofuels, renewable and clean energy, power generation, and energy efficiency, among others.
IHS CERA annually selects innovators based on their potential as game changers or drivers of
step-function improvements in existing systems. Modumetal was selected to present on the potential for its nanolaminated metals and coatings technologies.
In keeping with the CERA program format, Modumetal will present a snapshot of the company
and technology, followed by informal discussion and a relaxed time for questions and more
specific discussion of the industry-relevant applications of the nanolaminated metals for
upstream energy applications.
Modumetal, Inc. of Seattle, WA, is realizing the commercial potential of a unique, patented class of nanolaminated materials. These pioneering materials exemplify unprecedented performance
for structural, corrosion, and high temperature applications. Modumetal is made by a sustainable electrochemical manufacturing approach, which reduces the cost and raw material consumption of conventional metals manufacturing at the same time that it revolutionizes materials performance.
