Christina Lomasney is the CEO, president and co-founder of Modumetal. Christina started Modumetal in late-2006. Together with co-founder and inventor, Dr. John Whitaker, she is realizing the vision of developing ultra-lightweight armor and structural products using the Modumetal by Design™ process. Ultimately, Christina plans that Modumetal will revolutionize just-in-time manufacturing of parts for maritime, aerospace and automotive applications, and will realize the vision of ultra-lightweight, fuel efficient transportation vehicles and durable, low-cost structures.

Christina has worked in the research, development and commercialization of various composite materials technologies for over 10 years, starting at the Boeing Company, where she served in engineering roles including advanced metals machining and radiation-tolerant semiconductors. In 2001, Christina co-founded Isotron Corporation, which today holds a portfolio of electrokinetic and polymer products for environmental cleanup and national defense. Christina started and managed Isotron directly for over 6 years, growing the company's revenue base without outside investment. She is currently executive Chairman of Isotron Corporation.

Christina holds a BS in Physics from the University of Washington, where she has completed studies towards a MS in Applied Physics. She has published and is named inventor on pending patents on large-scale environmental remediation and advanced materials applications. She has presented papers throughout the world on environmental decontamination. Christina speaks and is involved in policy development in industry and military forums on topics involving nanotechnology, advanced materials and manufacturing, and “Lightening the Load”.
